I am forever in debt to the hundreds of nursing home residents with whom I have had the privilege of being friends. They have helped me to see that everyone matters to God and that we can face life with faith and courage. I am also thankful to the readers of this blog which I began three years ago as an extension to my main blog-site Praise2worship. I had thought there might be enough other readers with an involvement in nursing home ministry that I would be able to share experiences with. Though that has not been the case I will  continue on Praise2worship  to encourage both with insights into the lifestyle of worship as well as long term care ministry. Should the circumstances change I may reactivate this blog but for now this will be my last post. Blessings all!

My wife and I serve as members of a worship team at a multicultural church. Our members are from Brazil, Nepal and the U.S.. Because of the many languages and cultures in our local body we face unique challenges, such as how many songs will we do in English today? What new songs can we use in either language that are simple enough for the people to sing. The songs, the devotions and insights here are a small portion of some of the ways God is leading us as we push towards the goal. I pray that these will be both a blessing and an encouragement for those of you who may pass by Praise 2 Worship.
